Meet
Sandy Marin

I have an academic background in Natural Resources, and aim for a long term career at the nexus of environmental, racial, and social justice. I am currently employed by a non-proft called MobilizeGreen and completing a 12-month assignment at the national headquarters of the United States Forest Service Offices of Tribal Relations and Conservation Education.

My portfolio of work includes managing 3 websites, 1 of them is incomplete and in need of final development. I am taking courses in front-end web design to manage the websites in my portfolio with confidence. I am also building the skills to successfully design a website from the US Web Design standards framework. These web development courses are part of my professional development plan in the Resource Assistant position. The Resource Assistant Program is designed to be a career ladder position with the intention of transferring successful program participants into permanent positions with the Forest Service. I hope to pursue long term employment with the US Forest Service, but am open to new positions with conservation organizations in the Washington metro region.

I also love taking pictures, this website is just for fun to show you some of the photos I have taken throughout my travels!
